How to tackle labor shortage or inefficient workforce?
Labor shortage and the lack of a trained, efficient workforce plague nearly every industry. Inefficient workforce management leads to decreased operational productivity, compromising fulfillment and increasing costs. Statistics reveal that before 2019, there were approximately 11 million job openings but only 6 million professionals available. Even with the pandemic’s impact, the scarcity of skilled workers persists in the job market.
The first solution is to invest in Employee Training and development. This encapsulates allocating resources to employee training programs such as Leadership development Hub. How to tackle inventory management challenges?
Efficient inventory management is crucial for any business. However, deficiencies in this area can lead to escalated expenses, excessive wastage, and missed sales opportunities. Lack of transparency within the supply chain exacerbates the problem. However, there are three different solutions to this. One is to implement contemporary inventory tracking systems such as Radio Frequency Identification(RFID). These provide real--time visibility, enabling better understanding of customer behavior and effective demand forecasting.
