Our favorite part was coming together to create our own app in attempt to benefit others around us. In addition to this, we were able to put our creativity to use by creating a program from scratch. Overall, it was a fun experience which I would participate in again.
I learned many things about my strengths and weaknesses and took this competition as an opportunity to overcome my shortcomings. For example, I have always had stage fright but each time I present I overcome this and instead talk more confidently.

The Girls in the Corporate World collaborative experience this weekend was phenomenal. I was able to share perspective on my “Art of the Possible” discussion with the amazing girls who took time out of their Saturday to be present, engage, and invest in their present and future successes. It was a space of safety, honesty, and vulnerability to discuss both my and their experiences and to provide guidance and answer questions on ways to achieve goals such as college admissions and career aspirations. The participants were smart, talented, ambitious, and purpose-driven and I see continued success in their bright futures. GICW is a great platform to inspire, support, and help elevate our future leaders!
